July 10 (Reuters)-British Foreign Secretary Liz Truss has launched her leadership bid to serve as Britain’s next Prime minister, replacing Prime Minister Boris Johnson, according to an op-ed in the Telegraph on Sunday.
Who is going to replace Boris Johnson?
At this moment there are six candidates that are going to be replaced by Boris Johnson, there is a list of candidates who are going to be the UK’s next Prime Minister.
Six candidates remain in the running to replace UK Prime Minister Boris Johnson after the first round of voting, the Conservative party announced, with finance minister Nadhim Zahawi and former foreign minister Jeremy Hunt.
Indeed, last week Rishi Sunak quit his post as a finance prime minister last week, Rishi Sunak’s resignation from his post caused Boris Johnson to fall from his post.
Now there are 88 MPs who are supporting Rishi Sunak in Parliament and evidence shows that he is achieving the most popular among the party members.
Now there is a close competition between Liz Truss and Rishi Sunak for becoming the UK Prime minister.
Liz Truss Future Prime Minister of the UK earned 50 votes while Rishi Sunak achieved 88 votes. but there isn’t even clear whether or not Liz Truss Future Prime minister starts her work the future as a prime minister or not.
Is it possible for Liz Truss Future Prime Minister of the UK?
These days Liz Truss Future Prime Minister of the UK is closed to being a replacement for Boris Johnson. But is it possible for Liz Truss Future Prime Minister of the UK?
Indeed, there is still close competition between Rishi Sunak and Liz Truss. And Liz Truss still has received the most numbers of votes and he is still the front-runner.
Foreign secretary Liz truss closed the gap on her nearest rival in the battle to replace Boris Johnson- as front-runner Rishi Sunak continued to pile up crucial backing from lawmakers Monday night.
Truss-whose campaign for the leadership suffered a rocky start, largely thanks to the unexpected success of trade Minister Penny Mordaunt-pick up 71 votes from conservative MPs in the latest round of voting, up from 64 in the last round.
Mordaunt remains in second place among MPs, trailing only Sunak-but she’s dropped a vote, down from 83 to 82.
Under Conservative Party rules, MPs whittle down the field of hopefuls in successive rounds of voting, with the lowest-placed candidates eliminated, before the final two are put to a vote of the rank-and-file Tory Party membership.
The unpredictable race has seen an initial field of more than 10 candidates whittle down to the remaining four, with a number of surprises including better-than-expected performances from both Mordaunt and Badenoch.
The remaining candidates will now vie for the support of the 31 MPs who backed Tugendhat, who is from the party’s more centrist or ‘one nation’ grouping.
In fact, now at this time Rishi Sunak hopes to win this competition and becomes Boris Johnson’s replacement. Because he thinks that being the finance minister for two years can be a good point for him.
Liz Truss and premiership
Liz Truss recreates Margaret Thatcher’s outfit ‘down to last detail’ at Tory leadership debate, Twitter users say.
Twitter commentators have spotted Liz Truss appearing to recreate an outfit worn by Margaret Thatcher for her appearance in the first Tory leadership debate.
The foreign secretary wore a black blazer and white shirt with a large bow for the event on Friday, matching exactly what the former Conservative Prime minister wore in a 1979 election broadcast.
Hundreds took to the social media platform to point out the striking similarity. One tweet, which received more than 4,500 likes, said: “Liz Truss has recreated Margaret Thatcher’s appearance from her 1979 election broadcast down to the last detail.”
Another joked: “Liz Truss has recreated Margaret Thatcher’s appearance from her 1979 election broadcast down to the last detail.”
Another joked: “Liz Truss’s Margaret Thatcher Tribute Act is available for hire.” Ms. Truss appeared alongside fellow Tory leadership contenders Tom Tugendhat, Rishi Sunak, Kemi Badenoch, and Penny Mordaunt for the channel4 debate, which was hosted by Krishnan Guru-Murthy.
Asked when she had stood up for integrity and honesty, Ms. Truss said: “I stood by Boris Johnson, of course, I raised issues with him in private, but I supported him for the leadership election.
“I was part of this cabinet and I owed him my loyalty.” she also appeared to take a swipe at Mr. Sunak’s record as chancellor, saying: we face grave challenges as a country, the worst economic crisis for a generation, an appalling war perpetrated by Russia in Ukraine after decades of very slow growth.
“Now is not the time for continuity of our current economic policy. “we need to do thigs differently, we need to cut taxes, we need to unleash growth, and we need to unleash the potential of all of the people across our great country.”
Will Liz Truss win this leadership?
Now at this time, there is a close competition between Rishi Sunak and Liz Truss. There isn’t clear which of them is going to win this competition. However, this election is going to be held to cheat the British people and say to them Britain wants to change Boris Johnson for the sake of investigating the people’s problem.
At this final time in the Tory leadership, two candidates are doing their best to beat the drum which they think opens door No 10 for them.
Liz Truss has decided to go down the route of tried and trusted Toryism with her emphasis upon low taxation, the small state, and the dismantling of the Whitehall machine, all of which play well in the blue mythology, while she appears to dress in the style of our first-ever female PM to burnish further her Tory credentials.
There should be abroad a district worry in the general electorate if she comes out on top, that public services will be downsized to put more money in their pocket for splurging on luxuries and one-off holidays to Tenerife.
If they fall for her schtick, they will rue the day when they try to find a good school for their kids, a doctor or dentist to treat them, and need help when their jobs disappear without adequate help available from the state in such dire circumstances.
In other words, no matter which of the two is chosen to lead the conservative party, that choice will have been for the rest of the elect0orate between the devil and the deep blue sea.
Is there any similarity between Liz Truss and Margaret Thatcher?

Liz Truss has been repeatedly accused of embodying Margaret Thatcher in her bid to become the next occupant of NO.10-but is there much in these claims?
Not only Liz Truss but also Rishi Sunak is doing something to make similarities to Margaret Thatcher.
In this election, Liz Truss is trying to make herself similar to Margaret Thatcher, even though she is trying to wear like Margaret Thatcher.
Indeed, Liz Truss has been accused of dressing like Margaret Thatcher. However, she hasn’t accepted this accusation and has said in different interviews that I have my own personality and I am wearing in my own way.
Speaking to BBC Radio 4 on Thursday, the foreign secretary denied the allegation, as Tory members decide whether she or Rishi Sunak should be the next prime minister. “I don’t accept that,” she said. “I am my own person.”
“I’m from a very different background. I grew up in Yorkshire. I went to a comprehensive school; I am somebody who has worked all my life to get things done. And that’s what I want to do in the job.”
But there is a result of all these activities that British people must be aware of that. Generally, Britain’s government isn’t thinking about the benefits of its people, now this election is just a way to make an exhibition to trick the people and say that we are thinking about our people.
But the reality is that Britain does just want to justify Boris Johnson’s scandals and cheat them like always.
